Procedures for Reimbursement of Fund

Application for reimbursement of fund must be submitted within
one year from the date of commencement of the training course
for which subsides are sought. Funds will be reimbursed only
for employees who have attained the requisite benchmarks.

Applicants should submit all the required documents as listed
in the written notification on approval for earmarking of
fund to OWEC in their application for reimbursement. These
documents would normally include-
Originals of -
-
Declaration Letter for Application for Reimbursement
of Fund; and
-
Receipt(s) of tuition fee and examination fee(s) (The
name of payer on the receipt(s) must be the same as the company
name shown on the application form); AND
Photocopies of -
-
Documentary proof of individual employees' successful
completion of the course (e.g. certificate of award, certificate
of attendance, certificate of successful completion, or a
letter from course provider certifying that the employees
have successfully completed the course, etc.) (The company
name on the documentary proof must be the same as that shown
on the application form); and
-
Result slip(s) or certificate(s) of the examination(s)
showing individual employees' attainment(s) of the relevant
Hong Kong Workplace English spoken/written Benchmark(s).
Late applications will NOT be accepted.

Subject to the clarity and sufficiency of information/documents
provided, as well as the fulfillment of any other requirements
on reimbursement, a written notification on the approval of
reimbursement of fund will be issued to the applying company
informing it that a specific amount of grants will be reimbursed
for the application. Actual reimbursement will normally be
made within ten weeks upon receipt of complete information
and all required documents.

More time will be needed in the processing of reimbursement
applications with incomplete or unclear information or missing
supporting document(s), in which case the applicant will be
contacted by us for clarification or submission of further
information.
