How to Adopt these Benchmarks?
Employers can use the HKWEB as a reference for recruitment
and staff development, i.e. they may wish to adopt these benchmarks
as requirements in recruiting new staff, or as targets that
they will enable their existing employees to reach.
Employers should consider whether to adopt the minimum benchmarks
or the higher benchmarks, having regard to the specific needs
of their companies. They may wish to state clearly their
adopted benchmarks and make it known to their employees and
job applicants. We encourage employers to motivate and
to subsidize training for their employees to attain the benchmark
standards.
