The Workplace English Campaign (WEC) further sponsored the production of a booklet for RTHK's radio-cum-video programme, "Hong Kong Welcomes You".

The booklet lists the key learning points of the programme to aid self-learning. For collection of a free copy*, please call the Office of WEC at 3527 0177 during office hours.

"Hong Kong Welcomes You" was sponsored by WEC to introduce English phrases and vocabulary commonly used in receiving overseas visitors.

Prof. David C.S. Li of the Department of English, Hong Kong Institute of Education hosted two well-received workshops to discuss some English errors which are commonly found among Hong Kong Chinese users of English.
